Jakarta Modest Summit 2025 launched by Modestalk, a dedicated platform for connection, collaboration, and creative growth in response to the challenges faced by Indonesia’s modest fashion entrepreneurs in 2024. Held on December 5, 2024, at The Ballroom at Djakarta Theater, this third annual summit brought together industry leaders, emerging brands, and passionate changemakers under one roof.
Modest Summit 2025 Empowers a New Generation of Fashion Entrepreneurs
Supported by key partners like Pinterest, Wardah, Metrocar, Bank Syariah Indonesia, and Shop Tokopedia, the summit featured three signature programs. The program includes an inspiring conference, a B2B Trade area, and the Modestalk Reader’s Choice Awards 2024. The event opened with a message from Indonesia’s Minister of Trade, Dr. Budi Santoso. He emphasized the government’s support in strengthening the modest fashion ecosystem to thrive locally and globally. “Events like this align with our mission to elevate local products to the international market,” he stated.
The conference addressed real-world challenges in modest fashion. It also covers topics from managing physical stores to e-commerce strategies for Eid collections, personal branding, and budgeting for business expansion. Esteemed speakers included Istafiana Candarini (KAMI), Intan Fazria (Mayoutfit), Linda Anggrea (Buttonscarves), and Jenahara (Kasisolusi). The B2B Trade section showcased top vendors like Ms. Pattern (hijab print illustrator), Clubsolitaire (apparel production), and suppliers ranging from fabric to photography. Furthermore, this section offers a one-stop hub for fashion entrepreneurs.
Modestalk Reader’s Choice Awards Honoring Top Influencers and Brands
To conclude the summit, the Modestalk Reader’s Choice Awards celebrated the best in the industry with categories like Modest Influencer of the Year, Hijabi Model of the Year, and Modest Fashion Brand of the Year—based on 10,000 online votes. Furthermore, the ceremony was graced by Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti. In addition, the event featured appearances by hijabi celebrities, including Zaskia Sungkar and Natasha Rizky. As Hanna Faridl, Founder of Modestalk, expressed, “At Modestalk, we believe progress comes through unity. With platforms like this, we’re building the future of modest fashion together.”
