Celebrating Batik with Batik3E

asa

Starting from his love for collecting and wearing batik, Engelbertus Emil Eryanto or known as Emil has created Batik 3E in 2016 to celebrate Batik. Starting off as a wedding organizer and now, a Batik producer, Emil has continued to share his light on the importance of Batik within Indonesia’s culture.

Celebrating 8 years of presenting Batik, culture and fashion as well as his 56th birthday party, Emil held The Red Carpet Gala in collaboration with InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah. With a few of Indonesia’s biggest names in fashion sharing their twists of designs with Emil’s Batik.

Emil wants to encourage the younger generation to appreciate Batik more. He mentioned that he himself has drifted his interest from branded items to quality and rare Batik. He hopes the younger generation would be interested by the beauty of Batik as an industry. Inspire them to explore the business opportunities within Batik, besides Batik designers, Batik producers, and individual businesses that rely on Batik products.

We are honoured to be a part of the star studded Red Carpet Gala and Fashion Show. ASA had the opportunity to handle the media relations and press conference. Each media was also able to bring home a batik of their choice. We are looking forward to see what else Emil’s vision and creativity would bring us.
